Conformation

Conformation events are intended to evaluate breeding stock. The size of these events ranges from large all-breed shows, with over 3,000 dogs entered, to small local specialty club shows, featuring a specific breed. The dog's conformation (overall appearance and structure), an indication of the dog's ability to produce quality puppies, is judged.

 

Conformation is open to puppies and adulst dogs.  There are no age limits

 

Class Prerequisites: None

 

 

Cost of course: $10 for an hour of floor time. 

 

Class Requirements:

 

  • All dogs must be current on distemper, bordetella and rabies vaccinations and parasite free to attend sessions. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class.

 

How to register for classes:

 

  • Conformation classes are on a walk-in basis and are ongoing.
