
Treibball
What is Treibball? Treibball (pronounced "try-ball") is doggy soccer! It was developed in Germany by Jan Nijboer in 2003 and became a competitive sport in Europe in 2007.Treibball is very similar to herding a flock of sheep and is ideal for dogs that want to work. Your dog will learn to push large balls into a goal. You will learn how to send your dog out around the "flock" of up to 8 balls and have your dog drive one ball at a time into the goal.

Cost of course: $130 for 8 week course. ($155.00 effective 3/1/22)
Are There Any Prerequisites to taking this class? Treibball is for all types of dogs. There are no prerequisites for this course.
What to bring to class: six foot leash (no retractable leashes), flat collar and treats or toys for motivation
Class Requirements:All dogs must be current on distemper, bordetella and rabies vaccinations and parasite free to attend sessions. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class.Handlers under 16 years old must have adult supervision. Multiple family members are allowed and encouraged to attend classes. (However, at some locations we must limit the number of family members attending.)
