Adult Intermediate

This 8-week course is designed for those who have completed the Adult Beginners course or may be needing a refresher for an older dog. We will continue to focus on and proof existing commands while introducing new variables of distractions.

Topics Include:

 

  • Topics include

  • Review of basic commands (from Adult Beginners)

  • Continued focusing exercises

  • Heeling on Leash

  • Stays and Separation

  • Recalls

  • Commands at a distance

Intermediate - Cost of course: $195 for 8 week course
  Intermediate II - Cost of course: $185 for 8 week course 

 

What to bring to class: six foot leash (no retractable leashes), flat collar and treats or toys for motivation

 

Class Requirements:

 

  • Previous adult beginner course.

  • All dogs must be current on distemper, bordetella and rabies vaccinations and parasite free to attend sessions. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class.

  • Handlers under 16 years old must have adult supervision. Multiple family members are allowed and encouraged to attend classes. (However, at some locations we must limit the number of family members attending).

Class Prerequisites:

  • A previous adult beginner class is needed prior to enrolling in this class.
